FirstBank DTC For several years, Pathways has been fortunate to benefit from the generosity of FirstBank in both monetary and leadership terms. Since 2004, FirstBank has annually donated $10,000 of unrestricted funds. This type of donation is important since it can be used where most needed. In addition, Pathways benefits from the volunteer activities of Mr. Dave Cicchinelli and Mr. Tom Ashley who offer their time and leadership to Pathways Board of Directors. |
The Gary Plumery Foundation Pathways has received generous support from The Gary Plumery Foundation and also benefits directly from the annual Gary Plumery Golf Tournament held at The Pinery Country Club. The Gary Plumery Foundation is named after Gary Plumery, an individual with Down syndrome who lived and worked in Parker for most of his adult life. After he passed away in 2001, his family – especially his brother, Rich Plumery – has kept Gary’s memory alive through this special Foundation. With the Foundation providing funding for Halloween parties, a Christmas gift fund drive, numerous dances, Rockies games and sporting events, and other outings, Pathways clients benefit from the Plumery Family’s desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities. |
Knights of Columbus Several chapters of the Knights of Columbus in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties have been wonderful supporters of Developmental Pathways for many years. The Knights have a special heart for persons with developmental disabilities, and their support has meant a lot, from supplying meals and dinners, gifts to families in need and, of course, funds from their annual candy drive. |
Centennial Airport Lions ClubThe Centennial Airport Lions Club has supported Pathways with its Annual Centennial Airport Charity Golf Tournament. Since 2004, over $8,000 has been donated to Pathways to support its client services. |
Giving Tree ProgramThis annual event, in which local businesses provide specific gifts for residents in group homes and apartment programs at Christmas, has grown each year. The Giving Tree program distributed over 550 gifts to clients last year thanks to the generosity of several companies, bringing a great deal of happiness and holiday joy to persons with developmental disabilities. |
