Supported Employment
    Our Mission:

To assist people who have developmental disabilities acquire meaningful employment in the community by providing individualized levels of training and support as necessary to help them achieve and maintain their employment goals.

    About Supported Employment:

In this program, individuals are placed in jobs in existing businesses and on-going support within the job is provided. Supported Employment provides a high level of integration with non-disabled co-workers. Employment is characterized by placement of one person with one job. The employer pays commensurate wage and benefits available to all new employees, however, wage waivers may be necessary for some individuals. Employment Consultants provide intensive on-site training based on an individuals needs. Individuals may require on-going support for an indefinite period of time. Employment Consultants also provide advocacy and other non-work related support necessary for job retention.
